No, we are a cash-based practice, which allows us to dedicate the time needed to personalize your care. Most patients use HSA or FSA funds.

With my decade of experience working at a hospital, I have become highly skilled at determining which labs to process through insurance and which are better paid for out-of-pocket. We will discuss all options once we've narrowed down which labs to run.

I pride myself on being a practitioner who doesn’t order unnecessary tests. I start with the basics, addressing often overlooked issues first. Over the years, I've identified ways to offer labs at a lower cost, typically ranging from $80 to $200 for initial tests. More specialized tests, such as GI Microbiome stool testing, can range from $300 to $400.

Lab fees and supplement costs are additional. You pay the cost of the labs without any markup. Supplements ordered via the clinic FULLSCRIPT site are 10% off for active patients. I am transparent about where to find recommended supplements and encourage price comparison. I find FULLSCRIPT helpful to monitor past recommendations, and a way for patients to avoid the questionable AMAZON ordering. A few high quality brands will sell via AMAZON, and others will discourage AMAZON ordering. I will guide you on high-quality brands and provide expert advice on dosing regimens, and will teach you what I have learned about buying options.

Great! Please fill out this form, and I will add you as a previous patient. Make sure you have access to any labs we've previously conducted—either through RUPA Health or your MyChart portal. We require 48 hours' notice for a full refund. No-show visits will incur a $100 fee charged to the credit card on file. A credit card is required to book an appointment. I understand that emergencies happen, and with reasonable notice, I will simply reschedule you for another day.

Absolutely, the choice is yours. However, I recommend completing the labs and a follow-up visit before deciding on your ongoing care path. I will provide recommendations, and you decide how far you want to go with continued care. It’s beneficial to have an annual check-up with someone in my field for health insights. If I’m not the right fit, I’m happy to refer you to other providers.

Most patients start with a 75-minute initial visit, followed by a 45-minute lab review. If monitoring is required, you might return in 2-3 months for a follow-up visit and/or lab rechecks. Some patients find that an annual visit with labs suits their needs, with additional visits as needed throughout the year.

Once scheduled, you will receive electronic links to complete your paperwork.

You can bring your lab work to your visit, or there will be a way for you to upload it easily into your chart.
